TAFpayU, the new eTicketing solution for transport companies
Jena – March 2020: TAFpayU is the new eTicketing solution for local public transport and it is going to be presented on Stand 2B50 in Hall 2 at the IT-TRANS 2020 show in Karlsruhe.
TAFpayU combines real-time information, innovative features, check in/be out, modern payment methods and mobile ticketing in one app. TAFpayU means “pay as you use” and is based on the concept of “Ticketing as a Service”. That means that transport companies can use the app solution flexibly as a service model without the need to operate their own service and without being tied to a contract. Compared to expensive and time-consuming bespoke solutions, TAF’s payU provides a much more cost-effective pricing model that is charged according to usage or per transaction and offers rapid entry to the market. Furthermore, in its standard version TAFpayU is not subject to the compulsory tender procedure.
